Abstract
A series of fluorinated N-phenyl and N-benzyl-2-azaspiro[4.4]nonane- and [4.5]decane-1.3-dione derivatives, with F and CF3 substituents at the aromatic ring were synthesized, in order to determined the impact of such substitution on anticonvulsant activity. The incorporation of F and CF3 substituents enhanced the anticonvulsant efficacy.
