Abstract
Stability constants of iron, nickel, cobalt, zinc, copper and manganese complexes with the Schiff's bases from salicylaldehyde and aniline and its derivatives, have been determined in 50% aqueous dioxan at constant ionic strength (0·1 M NaClO4). The order of stability constants found is: Mn < Cd < Co < Zn < Ni < Cu < Fe Values of δH and Er (MnZn) have been calculated. The ligands appear bidentate in these complexes.
