Abstract
► (p-Cymene)Ru2(μ-S2)(S2C2B10H10)2 (1) plus (cyclo-C6H10)(OH)CCH led to two isomers in 1:1. ► Both isomers can readily lose one water in boiling CHCl3 to yield two products. ► Reaction of 1 with PhC(O)CCH led to an additional Ru(II)(18e)/Ru(I)(19e) species. ► We observed the charge changes from 16e Ru(IV) to 18e Ru(II) and to unusual 19e Ru(I).
