Abstract
•The new sixteen functional carboranyl substituted octasilsesquioxane was obtained and fully characterized.•Molecular and crystalline structure was established by X-ray analysis in single crystal.•The thermal behavior of the compound obtained was studied by means of TGA and DSC.
The new sixteen functional carboranyl substituted octasilsesquioxane was obtained and fully characterized by NMR-, IR - spectroscopy and Mass-spectrometry, its molecular and crystalline structure was established by X-ray analysis in single crystal. The thermal behavior of the compound obtained was studied by means of TGA and DSC.
