Abstract
⺠Novel ferrocenyl-tetrahydro-4(1H)-pyrimidinones were obtained and characterised. ⺠A Co-catalysed domino reaction of imines, CO and ethyl diazoacetate was applied. ⺠Possible mechanisms are discussed. ⺠The geometry of products was determined by 2D NMR techniques. ⺠Some structures were confirmed by X-ray crystallography.
