Abstract
Reported herein are the synthesis and characterization of nine new thiols or cap sulphide triruthenium clusters resulting from the thermal hydrogenation reactions of compounds based on [Ru3(μ-κ2P,Pâ²-diphosphine)(CO)10] and thiolates. The formation of a phosphide group linked to a metal center leaded to a Ru-Ru bond scission in one of the clusters.
