Abstract
The decomposition of (iPr)PSSe-Pb intermediate formed from Pb[(iPr)2PSSe]2 precursor involves three pathways: dissociation of iPrSâ anion, dissociation of iPrSeâ anion and heterogeneous P-S and P-Se bond cleavages. The heterogeneous dissociation of P-S and P-Se bonds is the slowest step in the reaction mechanism.
