Abstract
⺠Modulation of (Ï-arene)chromium(0) complexes by the ruthenium-catalyzed ring-closing metathesis. ⺠The reaction takes place within the chromium-coordination sphere. ⺠A novel high-yield route to phosphine-chelate (Ï-arene)chromium(0) species. ⺠The reaction is potentially extendable to stereoselective variants controlling the (Ï-arene)chromium(0)-based planar-chirality.
