Abstract
New 1,1′-disubstituted ferrocenyl stibines and bismuthine containing formyl group have been synthesized. All the compounds were characterized by IR, mass, 1H, 13C, COSY and HETCOR NMR spectroscopy. Crystal structures of stibine (1) and bismuthine (3) have been determined. C3-symmetric tris 1,1′-asymmetrically ferrocenyl substituted group V compounds are first of their kind, as not many examples are known even with other p-block metal/metalloids.
