•The synthesis of a cross-linked polyallylamine polymer supported iminopyridylphosphine palladiumⅡ complexes is presented.•The new catalyst exhibit efficient catalytic activity in Suzuki cross-coupling and Heck reactions.•The catalyst can be reused several times in activity for Suzuki cross-coupling and Heck reactions.
A novel cross-linked polyallylamine polymer supported iminopyridylphosphine palladiumⅡ complexes have been prepared and shown to be highly efficient catalysts for Suzuki–Miyaura and Heck cross-coupling reactions under low Pd loading (0.05% mol). Remarkably, the catalyst can be recycled and reused without loss of catalytic activity through simple filtration.
Graphical abstractA new cross-linked polyallylamine polymer supported iminopyridylphosphine palladiumⅡ complexes was designed and synthesized, which was used as outstanding palladium catalyst for the Suzuki–Miyaura and Heck cross-coupling reactions. The supported catalyst could be recycled and reused by the simple filtration, while keeping similar catalytic activity for five successive reactions.Figure optionsDownload full-size imageDownload as PowerPoint slide
