Abstract
The molecular structure of the novel tetranuclear cyclometalated palladium(II) compound 4a contains two six-membered dimetalic CBrP2Pd2 rings, comprising bridging Ph2PCH2PPh2 and bromine ligands, which link together two tetradentate N-benzylidene-1,4-phenylenediamine [C,N, C,N] moieties.
