Abstract
The supramolecular structures of the tetraorganoditelluroxane diiodides (R2Te)2OI2 (3, R = p-MeOC6H4 (Figure); 5, R = Me) and the related compounds (p-MeOC6H4)2TeI2 · 12I2 (1a) and 2 (Me2Te)2O(I)OH · H2O (7) are dominated by inter- or intramolecular secondary Teâ¯I interactions (blue broken bonds).
