Abstract
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8-Octafluoro-9-(pentafluorophenyl)-9H-fluorene, C19HF13, is deprotonated by NaH, LiR in polar solvents to the [C19F13]â anion. By reaction with [rac-ethylene-bis(η5-4,5,6,7-tetrahydroindenyl)](diallyl)zirconium(IV) an ethylene-polymerization catalytic precursor is obtained.
