Abstract
A new simple synthetic method for the formation of hydroxide alkylaluminum complexes via hydrolysis of cyclopentadienylaluminum compounds has been found. The hydrolysis of cyclopentadienylaluminum complexes with HC[(CMe)(2,6-iPr2C6H3N)]2 ligand (L) leads to the formation of (L)Al(R)OH (RÂ =Â Me, Et). The high selectivity of the hydrolysis was revealed.
