Abstract
The reactions of [Ru3(CO)12] with 0.5 equiv. of 2-mercaptopyridine or 2-mercapto-6-methylpyridine give hexaruthenium cluster complexes that contain (pyrid-2-yl)thiolate ligands displaying a novel μ5-κ2-coordination mode.
