Abstract
⺠Potassium/crown ether reduction produced crystalline benzenoid radical anion salts. ⺠Contact ion pair was obtained with 1,4-bis(trimethylsilyl)benzene radical anion. ⺠Tetrasilylated benzene produced a solvent-separated ion pair.
