Abstract
A base-stabilized mononuclear aluminum dication has been prepared by extrusion of two triflate anions from a precursor β-diketiminate-supported aluminum bis(triflate) using the tris(2-aminoethyl)amine (tren) ligand.
Graphical abstractThe first example of a mononuclear aluminum dication has been “captured” by treatment of the bis-triflate [HC(CMe)2(NC6F5)2]Al(OTf)2 with the tetradentate ligand tris(2-aminoethyl)amine.Figure optionsDownload full-size imageDownload as PowerPoint slide
