Abstract
Twelve diorganotin(IV) complexes with 2-quinaldic acid (2-quinH) R2Sn(2-quin)2 and R2SnCl(2-quin) have been synthesized and all the complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR and multinuclear NMR (1H, 13C, 119Sn) spectroscopies. The structures of (4-FC6H4CH2)2Sn(2-quin)2 · 2CH3CN (4) and {[(2-ClC6H4CH2)2Sn(2-quin)Cl]2 · CH3OH}n (8) have been determined by X-ray diffraction study.
