Abstract
Pyridine-N ligation was able to tune the redox properties of the diiron centers of model complexes: Ï-backdonation renders the uneven electron density of the diiron core to pyridine ring, and under excessive HOAc, model complex was proven to be reductive active at rather low first reduction potential.
