Abstract
Poly(allyl iminoalane-co-ethyl iminoalane)s have been prepared from LiAlH4, allylNH2 · HCl and EtNH2 · HCl with various allyl/Et ratios. It is demonstrated that the loss of aluminum during the pyrolysis of poly(allyl iminoalane-co-ethyl iminoalane) (allyl/Et = 1/3) is suppressed due to cross-linking reactions involving the allyl groups.
