Abstract
Treatment of titanium phosphinoamide, (Ph2PNtBu)2TiCl2 (1), with [CpâRuCl]4 afforded CpâRu(μ-Cl)(Ph2PNtBu)2TiO (3) through CpâRu(μ-Cl)(Ph2PNtBu)2TiCl2 (2) as an intermediate. The molecular structure of 3 indicated the existence of intramolecular donor-acceptor interaction between the lone pair electrons of μ-Cl atom and the Lewis acidic titanium center.
