Abstract
Cu2NiB2O6 is found to display an antiferromagnetic phase transition at â¼15Â K, which differs from isostructural Cu2CoB2O6 showing spin-glass behavior below 5Â K. The nature of different magnetic ground states in these compounds can be understood by a non-equilateral triangle model.
