White luminescence of Tm-Dy ions co-doped aluminoborosilicate glasses under UV light excitation

Tm3+ and Dy3+ ions co-doped aluminoborosilicate glasses, which emit white light under UV light excitation, were prepared. The dependence of luminescence properties on glass compositions was studied, and results showed that the white color luminescence was not affected significantly with different network modifier oxides. This adjustability could broaden application areas.
