Abstract

The composite material nSb2O3·mSiO2·xH2O was prepared by hydrolysis of SbCl3 and Na2SiO3 in an aqueous medium. It has been shown that the composition of the material is influenced by the ratio of the initial components and the acidity of the reaction medium. The morphology of the material particles and its specific surface area have been determined. The thermal and optic properties were also investigated.
