Abstract
The angular distortion is higher with MF and MS hybrid welded compare to MM weld. Average yield strength and tensile strength values are higher for with MM weld. Percent elongation is higher for MM and MF welds as compared to hybrid welds MS. During the tensile test all specimens failed from parent material; means welded joints are stronger than the parent metal. The slightly higher impact toughness of the weld metal reported at â49â¯Â°C for the MM and MS welds compared to MF weld. Under the transverse direction, weld metal VHN is higher for hybrid weld (MS, MF) compared to MM weld.
