Abstract
Heterogeneous asymmetric epoxidation of cis-allylic alcohols with titanium isopropoxide and tert-butyl hydroperoxide has been achieved using a branched/crosslinked poly(tartrate ester) ligand. The enantioselectivities and chemical yields obtained are at least comparable to low molecular weight tartrate ligands.
