Abstract
•Flavonoids from the leaves of C. sylvestris var. lingua were identified for the first time.•Five flavonoids were isolated by preparative HPLC and were identified by HRMS, MS/MS, and NMR.•Ten other flavonoid O-glycosides were identified by HRMS and MS/MS.•The occurrence of flavonoids in the genus Casearia is discussed.
