Abstract
Bi3+-hyaluronate complexes were prepared at pH 11.0-12.0. The complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, 13C NMR, FT-IR, CD, XRD, TGA and XPS. Participation of N and O atoms in coordination with Bi3+ has been confirmed. The anti-Helicobacter pylori activity in vitro of the complexes are similar with that of CBS, the most utilized bismuth preparation clinically.
