Abstract
The applicability of relaxometry for the determination of formation constants of Mn(II)-UDP (log K = 3.78) and Mn(II)-UDP-glucose (log K = 2.98) complexes is demonstrated. The obtained value indicates a well-defined interaction between Mn(II) and UDP-glucose in aqueous solution (pH = 5.50) with ÎG = -4.07 kcal/mol.
