Abstract
Figure shows the variation of swelling index of cured poly(ethylene-octene) (POE) samples with and without acrylic acid (AA) grafting in different solvents (represented by the solubility parameter) after 6 h of swelling at 25 °C. It reveals that maximum swelling index reduces and shifts to higher solubility parameter as the polarity of the rubber increases.
