Abstract
17a strongly increased the Nrf2 protein in the nucleus and enhanced ARE-driven gene transactivation, which resulted in the activation of the Nrf2-dependent cytoprotective machinery, thereby protecting cells against the carcinogen-triggered oxidative stress.
