Abstract
New photo-curable blends of electroluminescent polymeric hosts and charge-transporting dopants were designed for photo-patterning and avoiding phase separation during the process. Oxetane-functionalized polyfluorene derivatives, aryl amines, and aromatic oxadiazoles were synthesized. Through a standard photolithographic process, 5-μm line and space patterns of the electroluminescent material on silicon substrate were produced. Devices constructed from the photo-curable blends showed better color purity of blue emission and more excellent device performances compared with those of the pure polyfluorene derivative.
