Abstract

The anomalous correlations between the kinetics and the chain length of computed lattice model chains indicate that any consideration of the volume requires a stricter selection of the number of kinetic units. We calculated the average correlation times of the geometrical characteristics and the progressive diffusion coefficients for various chain parts, also the centre of the mass for a wider colection of chain units which included two types, namely those consisting of 2 and 3 kinetic units. A consideration of the movements of kinetic units made up of 3 jointed chain units (π-type units) removed the intra-chain limitations which are responsible for the anomalous correlations. The chains contained within a simple cubic lattice in which any contact between adjacent units was forbidden were considered in the calculations. The chain length was varied from 7 to 63 units. No consideration was given the remote order effects in space.
