Abstract
The polymerization of acrylonitrile and methyl methacrylate by the following complex catalysts: Mg(C4H9)2 · 2Mg(OC4H9)2 (I), 3Mg(C4H9)2 · 7Mg(OC4H9)2 · 2MgCl2 (II) and (C4H9)3Mg2I · (OC4H9)3Mg2I (III) has been studied. Initiators I and II were found to be highly effcient when polymerization is carried out in toluene at −50°.
