Abstract
Today's large wind turbine blades need to come out of the mould right the first time, with no defects. An important contributor to this is a mould release system which assists in extracting the blades perfectly while protecting the expensive moulds. George Barton, Senior Business Development Director – Composites, and Michael Woodcock, European Business Director – Composites, at Chem-Trend, discuss the importance of using the correct release system.
