Abstract
New powers that exist within the hazardous waste regulations have significantly increased the regulatory compliance burden for many companies and yet there are even more compliance issues to consider. Companies reviewing or implementing a legislative compliance strategy should take a broader look at the impacts closely aligned legislation or best practice guidance, such as storage, transport and packaging requirements, have on their organisations.
