Abstract
We report for the first time on both interface modification and co-sensitization by using novel asymmetry 7-coumarinoxy-4-methyltetrasubstituted metallophthalocyanines in a heterojunction solar cell. The short circuit photocurrent of mesoscopic heterojunction solar cell exhibits an improvement of more than 8%, while the PCEs give an increase of more than 28% compared to CH3NH3PbI3-sensitized devices, and the power conversion efficiencies reached at 13.96% most. The introduction of novel asymmetry metallophthalocyanines can not only favor crystal growth of CH3NH3PbI3 leading to a better carrier collection and retardation of charge recombination but also improve the light harvesting ability of perovskite resulting in a faster electron injection. Moreover, it can also reduce the hysteresis.
