Abstract
- Graphene oxide was reduced by a novel reducing reagent sodium acetate trihydrate.
- The water-dispersible properties of the reduced graphene oxide are poor.
- Reduced graphene oxide formed some new and smaller average size of the sp2 domains.
- A reduction mechanism of graphene oxide by sodium acetate trihydrate was proposed.
- The thermal stability of reduced graphene oxide than that of graphene oxide.
