A note on image potentials at dielectric interfaces and their possible relevance in organic electronics

This note recalls the existence of electrostatic image potentials and forces, which may be large, at dielectric-dielectric interfaces, and discusses possible consequences in organic electronics (OLEDs and photovoltaic cells).
