Electrochemical assisted co-polymerization of aniline and substituted aniline monomers at equimolar concentration ratios has studied under potentiodynamic conditions in acetonitrile containing 0.01 M lithium perchlorate as supporting electrolyte and 1 M perchloric acid as doping agent at platinum electrode. It was observed that during controlled potential electrolysis, the redox potential varies with the type of substituents. The products obtained were characterized by UV–visible, IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and SEM analysis.
