Abstract
Four monodisperse symmetric bis-dendronized arylenes, DPh-EG, Ph-EG, FPh-EG and DTh-EG have been successfully synthesized by a convergent approach using copper-catalyzed Buchwald's amination as a key step and characterized by a combination of 1H NMR, 13C NMR, MS, and HRMS. All these bis-dendronized arylenes exhibit high thermal stabilities, good amorphous morphological stabilities and high energy-transfer efficiencies (76%, 73%, 78% and 68%, respectively for DPh-EG, DTh-EG, FPh-EG and Ph-EG).
