Abstract
Photoluminescence (PL) and electroluminescence (EL) of poly(2-methoxy-5-(2â²-ethyl-hexyloxy)-1,4-phenylene-vinylene) (MEH-PPV) and its crosslinked polymer have been investigated in this work. EL and PL of MEH-PPV were affected in both their spectral shape and intensity after introducing a small degree of crosslink between the polymer chains. It is suggested that the EL enhancement can be attributed to the chemical structural variation by the crosslink in the network structure.
