Abstract
In this paper, high quality factor microwave dielectric materials of Li2ZnTi3O8-x SnO2 (LZT-x SnO2) (x=0.05–0.3 mol) composite ceramics were synthesized using a solid-state reaction method. The effects of SnO2 addition on microstructures and microwave dielectric properties of LZT ceramics were discussed. Microscopic analysis revealed that LZT and SnO2 coexisted in the sintered ceramics. The additions of SnO2 can greatly enhance the microwave dielectric properties of LZT ceramics. Especially, the LZT-0.20 SnO2 composite ceramics exhibited excellent microwave dielectric properties with εr~20.9, Q׃~89,500 GHz, and τƒ~ −24 ppm/°C sintered at 1080 °C for 4 h.
