Abstract
BaTiO3 ceramics with high permittivity were fabricated with BaTiO3 and SiO2 by the ball-milling method. An ultra-fast sintering method was applied to preserve the high-temperature microstructure of the reduced ceramics for further study of the interface microstructure and related permittivity property. The newly formed BST (Ba2TiSi2O8, fresnoite) interface acts as an oxidation barrier during the annealing process and a dielectric barrier in the final ceramics. The ball milling method may be used to fabricate supercapacitors with high density.
