Abstract

Cadmium tungstate (CdWO4) nanorods have been successfully ultrafast synthesized in several minutes under enhanced microwave irradiation conditions and characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM, and photoluminescence. The products show a very strong photoluminescence peak at 475 nm with the excitation wavelength of 350 nm and a short decay time.
