Abstract
The objective of this paper is to examine the reasonability and reliability of a rigid-plastic meso-damage constitutive theory for porous composites reinforced by rigid particles. To approach the goal, comparisons between numerical calculations based on the constitutive theory and tensile experiments are carried out. The results show that the constitutive theory could coincide with the experimental stress–strain curves successfully.
