Abstract
⺠The fracture mode is drastically changed under applied stress in NaCl solution. ⺠The time to fracture and critical stress for fracture decrease. ⺠Many cracks nucleate and propagate on the side surface of the specimen. ⺠The preferential dissolution of Ag and Cu ions is observed.
