Abstract
► Hexagonal Dy(OH)3 and Dy2O3 nanorods were prepared by hydrothermal route. ► Phase dependent PL and TL studies were carried out. ► The kinetic parameters such as activation energy (E), order of kinetics (b), and frequency factor (s) were estimated using peak shape method. ► Linear response of cubic Dy2O3 phase is useful for its application in dosimetry.
