Abstract
⺠A green long afterglow is observed from Tb3+ in CaWO4 matrix. ⺠Two traps which may have a strong influence on the afterglow properties are revealed by TL. ⺠A mechanism model based on energy transfer from WO42â group to Tb3+ followed by cross-relaxation is proposed.
