Abstract
⺠2RbClâ
MgCl2:Eu2+ phosphor synthesized by a simple wet chemical method. ⺠Intense blue emission observed with colour coordinates 0.15, 0.028. ⺠Eu2+ â Mn2+ energy transfer observed leading to yellow Mn2+ emission. ⺠Phosphor may be used for solid state lighting using near UV chips.
